STARTER STEALTH
Starter Stealth
The DHA offers a special program for kids interested in learning how to play the great game of hockey. This program meets weekly and there are three season options to choose from: fall (Oct-Dec), winter (Jan-Mar) or full (Oct-Mar). Spring hockey registration will occur after the regular season and goes from March - April. While this program is open to players ages 4 and older, the main focus is for players under 12 years of age. We also offer rental equipment for players that are just getting started.
This program focuses on skill building that will include inter-team scrimmages. Official games are not scheduled for this program.
Neck guards are required for all players.
Age/Experience
Program is open to players aged 4 (2021 birth year) and older.
Previous hockey or skating experience is not required. However, we always recommend participating in skating lessons in conjunction with Starter Stealth.
When
Sundays:
12:00 p.m. – 1:00 p.m.
Exception:
November 1: 10:00 a.m. – 11:00 a.m.
Session Dates
- Fall Session: October 4 – December 20
- Winter Session: January 3 – March 7
- Full Season: October 4 – March 7 (includes both the Fall and Winter Sessions)
Arrival Time
Please arrive at least 30 minutes before your scheduled ice time to ensure your player is fully dressed and ready before stepping onto the ice.
Where
All Starter Stealth sessions for the 2026-27 season will be held at Kettering Ice Arena.
Jerseys
Jerseys and socks are included with the registration fee.

- Sizing chart may be used when selecting the size for your player's jersey and socks.
- Assumption of Risk is an informational document provided by the DHA and may be helpful for families and players new to the game of hockey.
- Participant Code of Conduct should be signed and uploaded during the registration process. This assures us that family members and players are aware of the expectations for the DHA.
