CHECKING CLINICS
Checking Clinics
Coaching director Kelly Friedman is running checking clinics on August 9th and 16th, 2024 for players entering the Pee Wee (12U) age group and older.
Checking Clinics will focus on:
- incorporating heads up hockey principles
- perfecting angling proficiency
- effectively applying body checking technique
- proper approach into the boards
- minimizing the effect of an opponent's check.
Registration closes 1 day prior to each event.
Ages
This program is open to players entering the Pee Wee (12U) age group and older for the 2024-25 season. See the birth years noted below.
- Pee Wee: 2012-2013
- Bantam: 2010-2011
- High School: 2006-2010
When
Two events are being offered summer 2024:
- Friday, August 9, 6:20-7:20 pm
- Friday, August 16, 6:20-7:20pm
Players may register for one or both events.

Cost
$35 for each session registered
$70 for both sessions
