CHECKING CLINICS
Checking Clinics
Coaching director Kelly Friedman is running checking clinics for players entering the Pee Wee (12U) age group and older.
Checking Clinics will focus on:
- incorporating heads up hockey principles
- perfecting angling proficiency
- effectively applying body checking technique
- proper approach into the boards
- minimizing the effect of an opponent's check.
Registration closes 1 day prior to each event.
Ages
This program is open to players entering the Pee Wee (12U) age group and older for the 2026-27 season. See the birth years noted below.
- 12U: 2014 - 2015
- 14U: 2012 - 2013
- High School: 2008-2012
When
Two checking clinics are being offered:
- Friday, August 7th, 6:20 pm - 7:20 pm
- Sunday, August 16th, 12:20 pm - 1:20pm
Players may register for one or both events.

Cost
$40 for each session registered
$80 for both sessions
Summer 2026 Session
Registration is now open. Players may register for a single event or both events at $40 per session.
