Brush-Groh Scholarship

The Brush-Groh Memorial Scholarship will begin accepting applications on September 1st, 2023 for the upcoming season.

The Dayton Hockey Association is in partnership with Brush-Groh to provide financial assistance to hockey families in need. The Brush-Groh family members, friends and teammates have raised money through the Brush-Groh Memorial golf outing to provide scholarships to help cover season fees. This scholarship is available to players of any division and will be applied to the fees for the current season.  

Scholarship requirements

*Active player on a Stealth team

*Players (not parents) must write a 500 word essay to include basic player information, why they love hockey, and what they do for the community.

*Parents of scholarship recipients are required to volunteer for a minimum of 2 shifts during the Silver Sticks Tournament.

Please note:

*Application does not guarantee receipt of scholarship

*Awardees will be contacted by a member of the selection committee

*Scholarship funds will be applied directly to player accounts to cover season fees

*Applications will be accepted Sept 1, 2023 - Sept 30, 2023.
